Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist

Zoe is a Speech Pathologist specialising in the assessment and treatment of chronic cough, breathing disorders, and laryngeal dysfunction in adults. She works across both the public and private sectors and holds a public hospital role within a multidisciplinary team supporting people with complex laryngeal and airway conditions.

Zoe has experience across inpatient, rehabilitation, and outpatient hospital settings, as well as private practice and aged care. She has advanced training in videofluoroscopic swallowing studies, fibreoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES), and tracheostomy management. Her clinical expertise includes working with people experiencing inducible laryngeal obstruction (ILO), exercise-induced laryngeal obstruction (EILO), and ongoing breathing or throat symptoms that impact daily life, exercise, and confidence.

In addition to her clinical work, Zoe is a guest lecturer in laryngeal dysfunction within speech pathology, contributing to the training of future clinicians in this specialised area. Zoe holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney. She is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia and a member of the Laryngology Society of Australasia.
