1. Purpose

This Policy explains how refunds and cancellations may be handled for events, courses, webinars, workshops, supervision sessions and other offerings purchased through The Allied Health Hub.

2. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

3. Membership Subscriptions

Membership subscription fees are non-refundable.

By purchasing or renewing a Membership subscription, you acknowledge that access to Membership benefits, features, content, community areas, events, resources, or other member-only services may begin immediately. For this reason, we do not provide refunds, credits, or partial refunds for Membership subscription payments, including where you:

  • change your mind;
  • do not use your Membership;
  • forget to cancel before renewal;
  • no longer require access; or
  • cancel part-way through a billing period.

You may cancel your Membership subscription at any time. Cancellation will stop future billing, but your Membership will remain active until the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated.

This does not limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

4. Attendee cancellation before an offering

If an attendee cancels before an offering, they may be eligible for a refund only if the cancellation falls within the applicable refund window or is approved by The Allied Health Hub or the provider.

Where an attendee cancels or changes their mind, payment processing fees, Stripe fees, booking fees or other unrecoverable transaction costs may be deducted from the refund or may not be refunded.

5. Provider cancellation

If a provider cancels an offering and no suitable replacement, reschedule or alternative is provided, attendees will generally be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. Where cancellation is caused by the provider, the provider may be responsible for processing fees and platform costs.

6. Rescheduled offerings

If an offering is rescheduled, attendees may be offered attendance at the rescheduled session, credit or a refund depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

7. Post-delivery refund and dispute requests

A refund or dispute request relating to delivery of an offering must be submitted within 14 days after the offering, unless a longer period is required by law or approved by The Allied Health Hub.

This 14-day period is not a general change-of-mind cooling-off period after attendance or completion. It applies to issues such as non-delivery, access problems, material misrepresentation, serious quality concerns, cancellation during delivery or failure to provide promised inclusions.

8. Review outcomes

Possible outcomes include full refund, partial refund, credit, resupply, replacement access, provider resolution, decline of the request or another remedy required by law or considered appropriate.

9. Payment processing fees

Payment processing fees, Stripe fees, booking fees and other transaction costs may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

10. Co-hosted offerings and revenue splits

Where an offering involves co-hosts, revenue sharing or multiple providers, The Allied Health Hub may determine how refunds, credits, reversals or adjustments are applied between the relevant parties.

11. How to request a refund

Refund requests must be submitted through the support or contact process made available by The Allied Health Hub and should include relevant order, booking and issue details.

12. Abuse of refund processes

The Allied Health Hub may refuse, restrict or review refund requests where it considers that a user is abusing refund processes or providing false information.
